The Journey of a Chasidic Soul
Dov Moshe grew up in Miami, Florida with minimal exposure Torah, and no knowledge of true Yiddishkeit, save for rare occasions when he would see a picture or hear a story about his family roots in the shtetl. As a young adult, Dov adopted a life of vivid colors as a biker, South Beach nightclub bouncer and tattoo artist (about 75% of his body is tattooed). He went on to become a corrections officer, patrolman and Street Gang Unit operative. And then, with the help of Hashem, he found his true path as a Chassidic Jew. He further grew into his extended passions by redirecting his artistic talents from the tattoo industry into Judaic artwork (on canvas, not skin). His unique gift for compelling story-telling has taken on a whole new meaning as he has come into his own as a public speaker.
“This story is not so much about me. It’s about each and every one of us. It’s about the journey of the limitless soul.”
Dov is available for speaking engagements of any size, including farbrengen’s, corporate events, college campus groups, youth groups, community congregations and more. His delivery is captivating, strong yet refined, entertaining and funny. He speaks to each person individually while speaking to the entire group
“With gratitude to Hashem, my past life experiences have given me the ability and confidence to share, inspire and touch the lives of people from a variety of diverse backgrounds.”
Dov now enjoys what he calls, “the true life; the Torah life.” He dedicates many hours daily to learning, davening, and trying to touch as many souls as possible.
“I approach all experiences in life as a hard charger giving over 100%, which has been the recipe for success.”.
Dov has an inspiring story to share, with many twists and turns infused with real-life applied Chassidus.
